Let's give it that ol' college try..

So I told myself that I would blog more frequently... Oh well. David told me about this author who writes 1 page a day. At the end of the year, he would have 365 paged into a book. So I am aiming for once a week.

So much has happened since the last post, so I will try to play catch up, soon.

Til then...

My Natalie Ann is 14

Well, she made it to the big 14. Yesterday, August 5th, Natalie turned 14. She was totally pumped about not being a newbie teenager anymore... kids, if you only realized how hard life becomes past the age of 20. Anyways, I think she had a good day.

ps
Jonah took his first steps yesterday too!

Blah Blah and more Blah

Are all Mondays like this?
I had Physical Therapy this morning.. a pain.
Then I had to rush to go and get xrayed to make sure that I can't make anymore babies.
After that it was off to Home Depot to exchange the wrong filters for the right ones. I come home, and the house is a mess. I start dinner, get a load of laundry together, and wash some dishes.
Mondays.... when will you ever be nice to me? I still have so much to do before I can even think about bed.

At least dinner was so yummy, even Jonah had some and ate it all.

So it has been, like, awhile.

I should know better. I start this thing, I know I am supposed to write (you know, Journaling?), but I have not kept up with it. So I am going to give it my all and try to do better. With 4 kids and an ADD Hubby, I can do it, right?

So catch up time....
We are now in Land O Lakes, Florida. No there is no butter here. People in the area actually call it LOL. I am not making that up.
David is stationed at Macdill AFB to finish his project that he has been working on for about 3 years. Because of this project, he will not get promoted. It stinks, but he is fine with it. He has less then 3 years until retirement. Can you believe that he already has 23 1/2 years in the Army?!? It sounds so crazy.

We did add to our Family. Jonah Triton was born on September 30, 2009. He is such a joy to the family. Natalie will be 14 next week and driving me crazy. Chloe is 10 and wants to save the world. Jonathon will be 9 in September and wishes that he could play video games forever.

Florida is really hot. It is just after 10 in the morning and it is 87 outside. The real feel is 98. And it just gets hotter from there. We have had many 100 days and the real feel was well over that. The nice thing is that we live around the most beautiful beaches. We have to stay for 2-3 hours max at a time because of Jonathon and Chloe being true redheads and burn to a crisp. I lather them constantly and still they will burn. Natalie tans. David and I burn. Jonah so far has gotten a little red on one arm. I have a feeling he will take after Natalie.

I have decided to take on the task of homeschooling the kids this year. Florida is really big on their state testing. Jonathon and Chloe basically learned how to take test last year. So we will be playing catchup this year. Plus, since we are 30 minutes away from our church, Natalie will be able to go to seminary now. I was really worried about that.

Okay... I am going to close for now... I promise to get back on here again soon. A daily blog is what I am aiming for. We will see how that goes.
